Pure Maple Syrup mixed with Glucose (70% Maple Syrup with 30% Glucose) to harden the product into a candied state. Excellent alternative to artificial candies and is ideal for Type1 Diabetics who need that sugar fix on occasion. For example, researchers have documented the natural presence of abscisic acid (ABA) in Maple Syrup, a compound thought to stimulate insulin release by the pancreas.
